FIRST GRADE PREMIERSHIPS
St. Marys were formed in 1952/53. Ted Egan the singer was their first captain for the first three years, including their first premiership Captain.
The following are all the years that St Marys has won the premiership.
1974/75 Competition suspended due to Cyclone Tracy
1984/85 Underfeated champions
1988/89 They went through the season of home and away underfeated and did not
make the Grand Final.
1992/93 They won the 2nd Semi by 68 Points but lost the Grand Final by 51pts to
Wanderers who came from the 1st Semi Final.
1994/95 Underfeated champions
1995/96 Underfeated champions
1996/97 Underfeated until they lost The 2nd Semi Final by 50 Points
But won the Grand Final by 61 Points.
St. Marys have played In 36 Grand Finals out of a possible 42 since their formation of their club. (The competition was suspended in 1974/75 due to Cyclone Tracy.)
Since Vic Ludwig OAM became President, St. Marys have missed playing in the Grand Final only six times.
